Pretty interesting that Qigong uses the Lower Dan Tian, locates it in the area of the digestive organs below the belly button, and puts it in control of our physical energy. Qigong recognizes the Lower Dan Tian as a drug-free path to accomplish better energy, mood and health. Now it looks like there is science to back this up: An article in ScienceNOW states researchers have discovered that eating a species of bacteria called Lactobacillus rhamnosus, which is found in certain yogurts, cheese, breads, and probiotic supplements, has a calming effect on mice. |

This is all so exciting! I've been to China for my Level 4 Teacher Training for Emei Qigong. That was fast and furious, exhausting, enlightening. Grand Master Fu and I scheduled our Level I Seminar in Tampa for May 21-24, 2011.....and then the work really began! I started a new website for Emei Qigong, this is just about Emei, its history, its path of knowledge and growth, what Emei can bring to your life. Now registration is open online and by mail for the May Level I Healing Arts Seminar. |
